Jenny Jinhee Lee, LCAT, ATR-BC
Jenny Jinhee Lee is a New York City-based artist and licensed Creative Arts Therapist with a foundation in art therapy, counseling, psychology, and fine arts. With a multidisciplinary background and a passion for creative expression, she integrates her artistic practice with therapeutic modalities to support clients in their journey toward healing and personal growth.
As an artist, Jenny draws inspiration from internal states, capturing the moods and energies of people, objects, and places. Her work spans a wide range of media—including acrylic paint, watercolor, charcoal, oil pastel, ink, clay, plaster, wire, and even duct tape—with her recent focus centered on expressionist painting. Jenny’s artwork has been exhibited internationally in collaborative shows across New York, Italy, and South Korea. Her evolving artistic journey continues to inform her therapeutic work, offering clients a deepened understanding of the creative process as a tool for transformation.
In her clinical practice, Jenny supports individuals in reaching life goals and navigating personal challenges through creative self-expression. She offers a client-centered, goal-oriented approach in a safe, nonjudgmental environment. Her mission is to help clients connect with their inner experiences and move toward a more authentic, actualized self.​​​​​​​
Jenny incorporates a range of evidence-based modalities within individualized treatment plans, including:
